What job for me?
As a 20-year-old student, it’s not always easy to discover what attracts me for my professional life.
Through my studies, my charity work and my hobbies, I’ve been able to find out three criteria which matter to me.
My desire to work in a team
Even though I appreciate working alone because it often allows to be quicker and more autonomous, I realized through my projects that working as a team lends a significance support, a more complete variety of skills and a complementary in executing tasks, what decreases each member work amount and make the goals fulfillment easier.
Right now, I am part of ENSEEIHT drama, pompom girls, photography, video recording and break dance clubs, and of INP musical club, many activities which have increased my team and creative spirit.
My thirst for learning
Of course those are hobbies, but from a professional point of view, I did three video recording services for MonJob@FuturAuto/SIA show, Capitole Du Libre and the interview of a former ENSEEIHT student, and two photo services for Capitole Du Libre and Phoenix Gala n7 2020.
As a young woman full of energy, I always want to learn new things.
The different projects that I have carried out during my studies have enabled me to quench my thirst for learning. Indeed, thanks to them I have had the opportunity to improve my computer science skills, but also my soft skills: I learned how to work efficiently as a team, how to extract and convey the essential constituents of a project, how to create, manage and carry out a project, and how to throw myself into a useful cause: environmental conservation.
Even as I was in preparatory class and worked as a cashier at a municipal swimming pool I realized that this kind of jobs was way too repetitive to suit me.
My wish to help others
Another job I did when I was in high school was giving private lessons to struggling students, from sixth grade to twelfth grade in order to help them.
Helping others matters a lot to me. In addition to my Civic Engagement project, since the beginning of the year I have been volunteering at AFEV to support some middle school students and to use my experience and my knowledge to help them to find their ways. I am also a volunteer at BREI Midi-Pyrénées (Engineering Students Regional Office) which aims at helping students to take cheap and close training courses about community work, prevention, sustainable development and leadership & management.

The perfect job for me
Thanks to all this, I have became aware of the three criteria I’m looking for in a job. I would like to do a job which incites team work, which is constantly evolving so I would always learn new things and never fall into a routine and in an area which will enable me to have positive and useful impacts on some people's lives.
